Additional Options

Additional options for the truck include air conditioning, cab air filtering system, cab additional heater, electrically heated mirrors, high-voltage power line proximity alarm and car audio.

Brake Gears

The brake gears (service, auxiliary and emergency brakes) of the dump truck fully comply with international standards and requirements of ISO 3450 standard for safety. At the same time, the service system is equipped with hydraulic drive and features double-circuit design, i.e. the system has separate drives for the front and rear brakes. The parking brake system also has hydraulic drive and applies to the wheels of the rear axle. And since the area of the friction pads on the truck is quite developed, this system can be used both for parking and emergency. Auxiliary brake is electrodynamic, braking mode is provided by traction electric motors operating in alternator mode with heat removal through unified ventilated brake resistors. The parking brake circuit and intact service brake circuits are used as emergency brake.

Cab

The comfortable cab provides comfort and safety of the driver. The design of the cab and body, equipped with protective canopy, provides compliance with the requirements of the ROPS and FOPS safety systems.

Control and Self-Diagnostics System

In combination with the Quantum electronic engine control system and Siemens traction electric drive system provides automatic control, parameter monitoring, protection and troubleshooting of faults with codes display, significantly reducing the time for maintenance and repair.

Dimensions

BELAZ-75600 has optimal parameters for stability and loading height. The body with traditional protective canopy, safety system, exhaust gas heating in accordance with ISO3449, and flat bottom plate is optimal for operation with high-toughness cargo and in cold conditions when the cargo freezes over.

Electrodynamic Brake

Highly efficient deceleration over the entire speed range up to zero speed.

No mechanical wear.

No need for consumables (coolant, brake pads) eliminates complex hydraulic cooling system from the design.

Engine

Diesel engines with electronic control and central switching-off impeller of cooling system provide high specific power and high fuel efficiency.

The engine is equipped with pneumatic starting system, dry three-stage air filters with automatic dust removal and clogging indicator. The cooling system ensures operation in a wide variety of climatic conditions, and lubrication system with full-flow oil filtration provides lubrication and cooling of rubbing parts in all operating modes. The fuel tank of the dump truck is equipped with quick refueling valve guarantees operation without refueling for 16 hours.

Frame

Made of high-strength alloy steel, with application of cast elements of alloy steel in high stress areas.

The truck frame is designed taking into account the results of strength and dynamic calculations of the computer simulation systems ADAMS and ANSYS.

High Payload Capacity and Cost-Efficiency

Tests in Kuzbassrazrezugol mines proved that the application of new dump trucks can increase productivity by 35-40% and significantly reduce the cost of haulage operations.

Hydraulic System

The integrated hydraulic system of the steering, braking and hoist system made it possible to simplify and unify the hydraulic drive, apply twin (in one case) pump (by Bosch-Rexroth company). The twin pump is driven from the output flange of the traction alternator, without additional gearbox, which reduced unproductive power losses and eliminated the hydraulic cooling radiator from the design and at the same time increased the pump service life (taking into account the introduced additional oil filtration system) up to 25,000-30,000 motor-hours.

Standard Equipment Set

The standard equipment set includes automatic systems for combined fire-fighting, loading and fuel control, side and rear video surveillance, centralized lubrication system, telemetric tire pressure monitoring system, pre-heater for fuel and coolant. Moreover, all the systems fully comply with international requirements. For example, automatic fire-fighting system can extinguish fires of classes A, B, C in the engine compartment, as well as fires of electrical equipment under voltage up to 1000 V. An independent powder line with automatic actuation is installed in the rear axle housing to protect the traction motors. The Lincoln centralized lubrication system provides lubrication for the suspension, steering, friction units of the body hoist cylinders, and pivot bushings.

Steering

The steering is hydrovolumetric, double-circuit, with power flow amplifier and variable displacement pump drive. Its emergency drive features pneumohydraulic accumulator connected to the service system that automatically ensures the supply of oil in the event of shortage or lack of flow of hydraulic fluid in the steering system

Suspension

The classic (4 × 2) wheel formula in combination with suspension guiding apparatus, short wheel-base and AC electromechanical transmission provide smooth driving experience, maneuverability and excellent traction and dynamic characteristics.

The adopted design of the suspension guiding apparatus reduces the dry friction forces by 2-4 times compared to the designs of similar dump truck systems, minimizing the dynamic loading on the operator (driver) and the bearing units of the whole truck.

Tires

Tubeless, radial tires with diameter of 63″ and quarry tread pattern E-4 and excellent cut resistance characteristics allow to operate the truck on rocky ground.

Transmission

Siemens electromechanical transmission system has significantly fewer contactors compared to DC electric transmissions. The number of servicable units is also less. Due to the use of highly reliable components, it provides an unprecedented reduction in operating costs.

The ratio of power and speed characteristics allows to bring the truck characteristics closer to the parameters of the ideal theoretical continuously variable transmission.

No gear shifting is required, the current and voltage supplied to the traction motors determine the torque and speed of the truck, providing a smooth power change during movement.

The control system algorithm optimizes drive system parameters and provides lower operating costs and greater productivity of transportation.

Taking into account the lower initial cost of dump trucks with electromechanical transmission, the absence of units subject to wear improves performance and reduces the cost of operation.

Equipment

The manufactured equipment is equipped with additional units and systems that expand the functionality and improve operational attractiveness. There are standard and optional equipment sets. The set of equipment depends on climatic zone of operation: it can be northern or tropical.
